Testimonials

All the statistics in the world may not answer this question to your satisfaction. But hearing from some former patients may.

Lex Frieden, a patient who suffered a spinal cord injury, went on to become an activist for people with disabilities and is widely considered the chief architect behind the Americans with Disabilities Act, commonly known as the ADA. Lex says:

“My advice to people who have the option is to choose the elite care that one would get in a comprehensive medical rehabilitation facility. … My life was changed at the point the decision was made by myself and my family to engage in a comprehensive medical rehabilitation program rather than just stop the world and go home and live in a hospital.”

Julie Guthrie, a patient who underwent a quadruple amputation because of complications from sepsis, says:

“Rehab might sound scary to some after having such a major surgery such as amputation, but it was truly a life-changing experience for me. They ensured that I left there with all the necessary tools to live a successful life as an amputee.”
